What we do?

We build relational fields that move.

Emerging from our collective learnings, here are the four key capacities we believe are needed to create systemic shifts

  • Creating shared NARRATIVES that we can coordinate around

  • Weaving an ECOSYSTEM of actors who are required for a shift

  • Co-evolving a PEDAGOGY to build individual and organisational capacity to act

  • Actioning the GOVERNANCE to resource, share power and create structures for action

The core of Bodhi Sangha focuses on providing these capacities to the various nodes, each anchoring specific causes or domains. At the moment, our nodes centre around Glocal Citizenship, Mental Wellbeing and Climate Action.

The core of Bodhi Sangha will focus on providing these capacities to the nodes.

The nodes will focus on specific causes. Our nodes will primarily centre around Glocal Citizenship, Mental Wellbeing and Climate Action.

What we hope to achieve

By 2039, Bodhi Sangha intends to:

01

Grow into a network of 1000 nodes (weavers and projects).

02

Enable cross-sectoral alignment on systemic issues.

03

Serve as a decentralized sensing-action field that navigates crises and opportunities.

Envisioned impact

We anticipate increasing disruptions in the near future, both in India and globally. We are creating and weaving islands of coherence (our nodes) that present an alternative to the future.

Building soft power around strategic leverage points over time through our nodes will improve our sense-making as well as capacity to drive tangible impact.

When this complex system faces disruption in the longer run, the presence of an ecosystem that is connected with a shared narrative, has the capacity to sense-and-respond and can execute coordinated action, has a chance of becoming the default (or at least a serious contender).

With our limited understanding, we believe this is one of the potential responses to the metacrisis that can be dreamt of and practically actioned.
